To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to whole-heartedly endorse Pastor Al Soto. I have known AI for four years as a Pastor, community member and friend. It seems as though I’ve known him longer based on the lasting impact he has made on my life and the lives of many others in the community. He is a leader in the truest sense of the word, loving and empowering others to serve with greater capacity.
While I was Principal of Glen Edwards Middle School, Pastor Al garnered community resources and over 200 volunteers to repaint the entire exterior of a neglected school campus. More than
providing new paint, this act of service sent a message of love and validation to deserving students and staff. Al continued to serve the school community by aiding the new high school principal in securing funding and implementing a powerful character education program.
As a church member, I witnessed Pastor Al transform a hurting and diminishing congregation into a growing thriving community. His success was grounded in repeatedly communicating a clear and compelling vision. He managed expectations and helped many people successfully navigate conflict. He worked collaboratively with multiple teams, and empowered others to serve in love. This paragraph does not justly describe his efforts. I could write a book on transformational leadership based on the servant leadership, change management, and love demonstrated by
Pastor Al Soto encompasses a much desired depth and breadth of leadership. His life is characterized by years of humble submission to Jesus Christ. He has years of experience in leading transformational change. He critically studies current literatu re and classic leaders, and his writings continue to encourage, challenge and train others.
My personal experience of Pastor AI Soto is of encouragement, empowerment and love like no other. His love for Jesus Christ and the people and community he serves is evident in all he says and does.
